Dr. Alexandre Camanho

Judge of the Public Ministry, Attorney General of the Republic of Brazil. He has studied law in the Netherlands and Greece. He has taught at the Rio Branco Institute, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and currently teaches at the National Police Academy. He has served many public positions in his country, among which the consultant of the Republic and coordinator of the regional prosecutor's office criminal of the republic of the region No. 1 from 2006 until today. As a member of the public prosecutor has participated in numerous activities related to nature protection, including civil and criminal actions.

Dr. Catharina Wesseling

He is a doctor-surgeon, a doctor of occupational and environmental epidemiology. Currently works as a professor, coordinator of the health area at the Institute for Studies on Toxic Substances Research at the National University (RET-UNA) in Heredia, Costa Rica. She earned his doctorate at the Karolinska Institute, Sweden in 1997.

She is also Regional Director of the Program of Work and Health in Central America (known by its initials as SALTRA) which is a cooperative program between Central and various institutions in Sweden. It is also a researcher at the division of public health sciences from the same institute (Karolisnka)

Dr. Philippe Texier

It is a magistrate of the Supreme Court of France and current Chairman of the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural United Nations, both as members of the Drafting Committee of the Committee. She has extensive experience in this field in Latin America. Was examining magistrate at Chalon sur Marne (center), Marseille (southeast) and Paris. Director of the Judicial Division of the National School of Magistrates of Cameroon and President of the Tribunal de Grande Instance of Evry and Melun. In parallel, an expert independent Human Rights Commission of the UN in Haiti (has conducted several consultancies between 1988 and 1990), besides being also Director of the Division of Human Rights Monitoring Mission in United Nations El Salvador (ONUSAL, 1991-1992).

And chairman of the Board at the Court of Appeal of Paris (1962 to 1996). Adviser of the Board of Social Affairs of the Court of Cassation in Paris.

Dr. Luis Gabriel Torres Gonzales

He graduated in theology from Franciscan Theological Institute of Monterrey, AC, since June 1971, and graduated in philosophy from the University Atemajac Valley since 1989.

He did his Ph.D. in development sociology at the Agricultural University of Waneningen in Holland in 1993. PHD doctor also in agricultural and environmental sciences from the same university since 1994. In Mexico is a member of the National Research System Level II. Professor A of CIESAS for 13 years.

He has published several papers on the Lerma-Chapala-Santiago. Pacific and on the human right to water.

Dr. David Barkin

Is a professor in Xoxichimilco Unit of the Metropolitan Autonomous University in Mexico City since its founding. He received his Ph.D. in economics from Yale University in 1966. He received the National Prize of Economics in 1979 for his analysis of inflation in Mexico. In 1974 he participated in the creation of the Eco Center, as part of CONACYT; continues as a member of its successor, the Center for Ecology and Development. He is a member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences and the National System of Researchers since 1986 (level III). He has published numerous books on issues related to economic development in Mexico, food systems, sustainable development and hundreds of articles in 8 languages.

Ms. Patricia Diaz Romo

Graphic designer, has worked with many NGOs and indigenous communities in craft design and housing. He worked as an apprentice in the workshop of George Wilmot Nahuales in Tonala, Jalisco. In 1984 he published a crast map of the Lake Patzcuaro area. He is co-founder of the Association for Research, Training and Assistance Wixarica (AICAW ac) in 1982 where did the House of Health Huichola. She has published valuable materials about issues that has to do with Human Rights. Huichol is project director and pesticides as well as video of the same name, which has been translated into 12 Indian languages besides English, French and German.

Msc. Salvador Montenegro Guillén

Director and founder of the Center for Aquatic Resources Research in Nicaragua's National Autonomous University of the country.

Master Montenegro has completed postgraduate studies in biology at universities in the United States, Austria, Spain, Brazil and Venezuela. Has lectured and several European countries. He is coordinator of the Nicaraguan Alliance for the Development and Protection of Water Resources. The presidency of the Republic of Nicaragua has been granted several honorary distinctions. It has provided consulting services to numerous governmental and nongovernmental organizations in that country.
